Is there a video of taking the full stack and vac-stacking/cane pull off of your tool? I'd like to see that. I assume it is made of stainless steel for that reason. Thx
I don't fully understand the question. There are several different ways to pull the cane down once it is stacked. Some people actually pull the stringer sot of the tube while wrapping rubberbands around it all to hold it together. Other people melt it all down as one. I took mine off the stand and put it in the kiln to preheat. Then I used my torch, inside the kiln, to melt one end together. I attacked a piece of 25mm solid rod to the end then pulled it out of the kiln and attached a flared piece of 55mm tubing to the other end. Hooked up my vacuum pump and pulled it down.
I think you may be asking if the whole fixture can be put in the kiln. I have not tried it yet but I talked to a few people who think it may be doable. It's 3/16 stainless so I assume it may be good at 1050 degrees. once again though, I have not tried it. It would be great if it can handle it though. It would make things even that much easier.

304 stainless can handle soft glass fusing temps 1500F. I was just tring to understand why you used stainless steel if you don't put heat to it.
I would bunsen that whole thing at the bench, attach a molten glob, pick it up and center it, then attach the tube and heat until vac ready.
Oh, super cool tool by the way Faded!
