I will make some more one of a kind bubblers. I have 2 shops that are interested and a distributor. So I could make another bunch for now.
Bernie Sanders is coming to town tomorrow. I am going to see him at 4:00 pm in my little city. I just filled out the rsvp.

I don't think I will make anything more expensive then $75.... that is about $150-$200 retail price.
They are hard to make so I will make a few spoons and maybe a production bubbler to build my confidence first.
Nothing like working 3 hours on something to hear crack.... so it take a lot of focus.

Ok I made a Sherlock bubbler with dichro cobalt and illuminati cane reversals on both mouthpiece and can. It is done with colored tubing incomo and the base is extra large and wrap and rake illuminati over cobalt tube. Pics to come!

Took me since noon to 3 to make one and that does not include marbles and bridges.
    Safe in the kiln.

The illuminati looks best with encased cane. It works when raked with clear a little but not as bright as the inside-out.
I peeked in the kiln it is at 300 now.

I lost a chunk of kiln brick in that pic. It just came out. I guess it is still ok though. It is only a year and a half old.

Can't you just fix that sort of thing with the fire brick mortar they sell at the hardware store for fireplace repair?

Yes but the piece fell on the floor and broke. It is a piece of the brick above the groove for the elements. I think it is still thick brick there.

Maybe tomorrow I will take less pictures and do something that has encased illuminati for the wrap and rake. I think it will come out better.
I have some green tubing also I can use. I have amber but it is really hard to use. So I will skip that one I think.
Yeah I will make a green sherlock bubbler.
Then I have to split early. I have 2 tickets to see Bernie Sanders speak. Michael Stipe is MC. It sold out today.

I am not sure the shops have a black light in the case. I am working on it now. If they have a black light it would be cool.
I might have to make a spoon? With a wag on the end. They sell better then the bubblers.
But I have sold a lot of them. Just only a couple at a time.

Trump is coming to the area next. A riot broke out at the Albany rally. I am afraid trump will start a war to begin with.
