I have imported 3 torches from this guy. He is a good seller. Thought id give some feedback and a bump to help him sell the last ones. I have not seen these in person, but if you have been looking to get into a cheap Herbie this is a good starter. I have done a ton a research and tuning and thought Id share my experience. First off Natural gas is cooler than propane, and they are Jetted to run at 22mbar or .325psi. Thats half the pressure of a PSL(propane) model, So you have to Detune it to run propane. As well PSL has 3 more compressed air valves that mix with the fuel under the cover in the Cam valve set. I have had some success running compressed Air into the fuel line with a needle valve but needed to run it at the same PSI as the fuel, 22-40mbar. And still it never felt like it was quite right. It took me a while before I tryd running one on Natural gas at my home studio, as i only have K tanks at my house and these torch eat Tanks for lunch. Germans know how to engineer there tools and this is no exception. After Emailing with Herbert Arnold they stated that ESL cannot be converted to propane. It will burn, but not to its real potential. If ya feel like cleaning and tinkering and retuning to run on NG you will have good torch. ESL run great without Compressed Air and are half as bright as propane, which your eyes, face and hands will appreciate. And there is very little carbon build up on NG. If your in the Portland area I would be open to help retune it to run on Natural gas. Jason Howard would be the first choice for tuning, but I figured Id offer for a NW local. This is a Great deal for the right person. Thanks Again Gabor!
