David Kaminski usually does grab bags on IG where he'll do $100+ value of millie for $50 but he chooses what you get. I've had some good luck with it! He does packs of cane or coin and either his work or work from other artists.

I got some from here before. But it was dancing bear and I only got 8 pieces out of it. It cost like $45. I tried to raise my prices to make the dead stuff that they wanted but no one would pay more money.
So I go someplace else for milli right now.

I got some ends and trash from a supplier 12 years ago and milli seemed not to useful as I bought trash. After I moved to humboldt the local boys showed me what's up.I go buy some at least once week now.Even my 12$ spoons are getting milli on them now,not worth the time and I don't make more $,they are easy to sell.I like you use the cane,I try to snag milli right from the artist and stay away from store but I will give golden gate a try and see how it goes.I know a big time collector that has some neat stuff he will sell me too.I keeps chips and coins as collection.Dead bear is a pretty easy milli to find 3$ a gram I see it for.I pay 2-5 usually but up to 10 a gram but that's was just a couple times I went for the 10 a g got some pikachu the other day and gave the kid 10 a g but made the 12.50 spoons got up to 25 so that works, now I got to see if I can buy more of that pull.Everyone one whats one!!!

I sell a lot of milli spoons. I buy cheap milli for $3 gram. I only get $7 a milli spoon. But they buy as many as I can make.

It's an old video. I did not do it right the first time so I did it again in the video.
You have to get the hang of it. You have to get a feel for when the glass is right to snap it off. It usually takes to the count of 12 but it is the feel that does it. As soon as it gets stiff enough to snap. You break it off.
You torch the milli only until the ends are melted a little. Like the same amount that you want to break off.

Maybe pull the milli a little with two rods to get it to about 7mm diameter. Then cut the end with your diamond shears. That makes a nice starting snap off too.

But you can always pull the marble off and then put a new one on.
