Thinking about a limited run of hardcover books
Not sure this is the correct part of the forum to put this in, so if not mods please feel free to move it to the correct spot.
------------------------
I'm considering getting a short run of my marble books printed in hardcover. I'm in the process of redesigning the book right now and want to make it into more of a "coffee table" style book. Each one would be signed and numbered. I'm not sure on price right now, but it would be on par with other books like this.
Is this something anyone would be interested in?

Re: Thinking about a limited run of hardcover books
Cosmo I bought all three of your ebooks and they are fantastic! An excellent comprehensive intro and very clear instructions for several of the most common techniques and styles.
My opinion is that hardcovers would be a super idea if they were spiral bound so books could lay flat open to a single page. This would be way more useful than a coffeetable book IMHO, I would love the have the book on/near my bench instead of my iPad with ebook.
I would have preferred paper over electronic but stoked to have the info in any form.
FWIW any newb should save and spring for the set, save yourself months of trial and error figuring out cool styles. You still need to make bunches to get good of course but picture guide and instructions get you started in the right direction right away.

Re: Thinking about a limited run of hardcover books
I'm still thinking about spiral vs. hardcover. I may end up starting to offer spiral bound printed books again in the future as the pricing is starting to come down to a point where it's affordable without having to order 1000 books at a time. I'm kind of envisioning this one as having more eye candy in it as well. I'm still in the "hey, wouldn't this be cool?" phase with it right now though. Haven't decided which direction I'm going.

Re: Thinking about a limited run of hardcover books
I got your 3 E book package and was very happy with it, money well spent.
Where I live it would be a very long and painful car ride to take a class for me so books and videos are the very next best thing to a class.
Im sure any book you make would be a winner.

Re: Thinking about a limited run of hardcover books
I haven't seen your books, but if you have end up with a printed version I def want it. Maybe two if I can swing it cause I know I'll end up giving it to the lending library and I would want to keep one.

i dont like the ebook format, id prefer a printed version.
and a coffee table version thats numbered, signed, and focuses a little more on the pictures/artwork would be pretty cool too. i would buy one.

I'd be interested, especially a spiral bound but either would do just fine.

I would also be interested. Consider me a definite buyer.

Re: Thinking about a limited run of hardcover books
If these were instructional, spiral bound for sure. A coffee table book of marbles I may not be as interested in since I have received a lot of those as presents already.

I wish to buy one too! my vote is towards the spiral ring!

Re: Thinking about a limited run of hardcover books
I have one of your spiral bound books from a few years back. My Dad has been asking me for years how I make some of my marbles. I've had a hard time explaining it to him. I took your book over to his house recently and he thumbed through it. You brought a huge understanding to him that I could never convey in words. We both thank you for this.
I would be interested in a hardbound book of yours.
