    Default Repairing Hand Torch Hose?

Has anyone repaired a mini torch hose? I dropped it the other day and now theres a leak coming from the propane hose, within a few inches of where it connects to the hand torch. I was thinking i might be able to just cut it off and re-clamp it, but i havent been able to find the tiny hose clamps they use.

I just used some small pieces of wire, twist tie style with a thicker gauge. Use some needle nose to get them kinda tight (without over doing it an cutting the hose or breaking the wire) cut off the excess and push the cut end around to the inside to prevent snags.

    Done and done.

Just reuse the one that is on the torch. They are push on compression tubes not clamps and that makes them easy to reuse.

"Push on compression tubes"... Is that a technical term...

    They're called ferrules.

I prefer the wire method and it can save you in a pinch

It may be ghetto but it's such a little pressure you run your propane you could use a piece of duct tape and last you for a year with no leak. Don't ask me how I know this

I would suggest a single ear hose clamp. You can get ones that lock into place like on gentec torches, but they are harder to find in small sizes.
