    Smile Aura Lens custom shades

I received a pair of custom ground shades a week ago and wanted to put a few hours on them prior to posting.
    Love them!
Simple magnifiers with two different powers L/R, AGW-325 shade 4 w/top didy split.
They are indeed heavy since they are glass rather than plastic but the included lanyard takes the load off and they are very easy to wear for hours. The lanyard is a nice touch, thanks Mike, it's the little things that make a difference.
Coming from Phillips shade 3 it was interesting that these shade fours appear to be lighter "shade" but my eyes feel less of the radiation from the flame, it's a double win! I was concerned that the 4 would be darker and reduce visibility but that is not the case. Even the split didy is lighter in color but blocks more fire. My eyes took a couple of days to get used to the corrective power (which is why I waited a week to review) but these glasses are fantastic. I was getting headaches from eye strain and was limited to only a couple hours before i had to stop for a rest but the new shade and magnification allows me to work until my hands get tired.
They were not inexpensive but they are unquestionably top of the line and definitely worth every penny.
The split lens is awesome stuff! Two thumbs up Mike!

    My favorite lenses! What frames?
Maybe when I win the lottery I will be able to afford $350 glasses.

I thought metal frames were more durable and they are but plastic are comfortable and don't get hot.
My grandmother bought me a pair 20 years ago. Too bad she died and can't buy me another set or I would get them.
