    LIVE FLAME EVENT - 10/9 & 10/10 – 11 am – 10 pm – Monona Terrace Convention center

First off, I’d like to talk about our Live Flame Event. This event brings together national and international glass artists, working together for a good cause (the Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin https://www.secondharvestmadison.org/)

This is not a competition style event, so artists are not under pressure to “win”, which means you see some really cool stuff come out of this (artists trying new concepts outside their comfort zone, collabing with artists they might not otherwise get a chance to, playing with old styles and techniques they haven’t used in a while, etc… )

    This year’s line-up includes:

MILLI BAR – Tue 10/10 – 6-9 PM - Downtown Hilton Hotel Lounge

On Tuesday October 10th, we’ll be hosting a “Milli Bar” in the Downtown Hilton bar & lounge (connected to Monona terrace). This is a great opportunity for milli collectors to come out, meet their favorite artists, see some amazing work and swap and purchase milli from artists and other collectors.

SILENT AUCTION – Wed 10/11 – 5-9 PM - Downtown Hilton Hotel Lounge

On Wednesday October 11, all of the pieces that the demo artist have made over the past two days will be auctioned off, with the proceeds being donated to the Second Harvest Foodbank of Dane County. This is an excellent opportunity to scoop up some really special work that would never make it to the normal glass market.
