    Default Bigger AIM Kiln.

Hey all, looking for a bigger AIM kiln. Had one supposedly lined up but I never heard back from the guy, so now I’m back to shopping around! I’d be looking to spend in the 1,000-1,300 range and I know I’ve seen quite a few of the decent sized AIMs go in that range. I’m located in the Springfield, OR are but can travel and willing to go as far south as Los Angeles and as far north as close to the Canadian side of the border.

Bump. But only because I don’t want to settle for a Jen-ken or a bluebird.

id sell her for 1500.., 16 and id meet you halfway absolutely nothing wrong with her at all, just can't melt at the house I'm renting they won't let me get a 240v outlet so switching down to something 120 would probably be the last kiln you ever need, can literally hold dozens of pieces of prep and more.

I am considering it, especially if you’d be able to meet me somewhere “halfway” for us both. If you can could you PM me some pictures of the kiln?

These guys are in Marysville Washington. I don't know if it would be a easier drive but these guys have used kilns for sale sometimes!

Thanks for the heads up on trevs having used kilns, I did not know that. I will give them a ring and see if they have any right now!

UPDATE: they don’t have any at the moment but they DO sell used ones from time to time.

They currently don’t have any used kilns and idk if I want to do a new one cause that just means smaller kiln for more/same money.

Just picked up an AIM 2118 from a guy down in California this past weekend! It’s LITERALLY brand new(still has manufacturers shipping supports inside!) and I’d like to think I got a pretty good deal! Regardless! I got my big AIM kiln finally now the only thing left to do is find an electrician to drop a 240v in for me and hook my vent fan up to a flip switch!
Soooooooo close! OxygenFrog tank arrived yesterday, just gotta get electrical set and we are ready to rock!
