hoping someone has a tiny ring saw they just wanna throw away
I am looking for old litton proportioner parts and old manifolds that need rebuilt. looking for free or cheap shit from scientific shops that I can rebuild for my use. cradles burners, bunsens, bench burners of any brand. what have you got laying around? I know somewhere has a pile of stuff he offers peoples parts out of. Thanx if anyone comes through with cool shit.

Forget the ring saw you can buy a cheap bandsaw almost anywhere and then a diamond blade from somewhere like Kingsley north and have it all at your door for a couple hundred bucks. I've been rocking a delta bandsaw with a diamond blade for years. It has delivered literally thousands of cuts and just keeps on. I covered my table with plastic sheeting corian (sp?) and added a water feed. All the bearings now a days are sealed and my saw wheels are aluminum.
I do have tons of old lathe burners and all kinds of scientific stuff I would like to see gone but unless it's one particular thing you need I'm not just boxing it up and giving it all away. If you have a need for something in particular I'm definitely happy to help. To bad you don't live a little closer you could come rummage the warehouse.
Gainesville fl if anyone is interested.
I do have the cheap tile saw with the good diamond blade, but the cuts are pretty wide. I need a few more bunsens, a small cradle burner, and mini mecco tips necks and torches. I would pay money, because someone else would. I am eight hours. I think I maybe would wanna visit. I have a bunch of friends and could make a little tour at this point

Any decent lapidary supplier should be able to get you a thin blade, and arbor adapter to suit your saw. I find the electroplated blades come really thin and give cleaner cuts compared to sintered/continuous rim blades. They don't last as long but they are the best for glass imo.
"Don't get me wrong gtts are nice, but I'm more about that Issac Hayes smooth talking flame over the "come here boy you got a purty mouth" prison sex flames that gtts are known for."
feel free to suggest a particular one or even drop a link
