interested in your smith. is this a genuine smith brand little torch? do you have origial packaging or purchase receipt? ebay knockoffs are errywhere.

the flat top knobs have me thinking its not?

That looks like a genuine Smith. The knobs look correct. The hoses and hose connectors are a good way to tell. The hoses on the knockoffs are brighter in color and the connectors look cheaper. The weave of the fabric covering is tighter on the real ones vs a looser weave on the fakes. Also, the hoses are a bit stiffer on the knockoffs.

Apologies for the late responses, so yes the smith is genuine. I bought this one from a jewelry shop and they seemed to be very proud that it was genuine smith. I do not have the box or the manual, I did keep the foam insert and the other tips from the original box as shown in the picture.
