AVC will be closing its doors permanently on 12/31/2023. It's been a good run, 48 years! But it's time to say goodbye, and thanks for the memories.

We have closed customer registration and are accepting orders from existing customers only until 12/31/2023.

I've got surgery planned on my lower back in mid-January, and I'll be unable to work for 2-3 months, post-surgery. And let's face it, I'm 68 and it's about time to retire. Now, whether I stay retired is another question that I won't be able to answer until well after surgery and will depend on how well it goes.

I can't answer any broad questions on warranty issues. I will have to handle them individually, and it will totally depend on our remaining inventory levels.

Few, so glad I found this... I had a dream this was going to happen yesterday, I woke up and thought to myself, the patients or company would go to someone else ?

Will this be the end ? Or will a different company start producing your lens? A.k.a did you sell the patent?
