I tried resetting router and modem, cleared cache and files and stuff, tried pinging the website, it all just 'times out' which I don't know what that really means. My service provider said they didn't think it was their end but I think it must be, I'll call them again too.

My whos online function hasnt worked since the begining it always registers 0 members 0guests

That was one option the other i thought was it only lets ypu know about people on a users buddy list.

if you want to see whos online click the forum tab at the top of the screen and scroll to the very bottom of the page. it will say "whats going on" as a heading and it displays currently active viewers. this only shows you the people that have there privacy settings set to allow people to see when they are online. it also shows birthdays, newest members, and site traffic info.

Yes. it's very possible that the spam filters might, I stress MIGHT, be the cause of it.
but keep in mind, I have a limited knowledge of computers,
so what I say is more of a stab in the dark, then actual knowledge.

I'm not asking, I'm only making a statement from bad experiences I've had....
If your ISP is Comcast/Xfinity, then that is 3/4 of your problem right there.
Comcast/Xfinity has a reputation of telling you what you want to hear,
And NOT, what you need to know. they do that to make your bill go up higher
and so they get richer...Greedy B******* >8 (

Hello, I'm in a quandary about my avatar pic...
I read the directions, it said 100 x 100 or 64 something, whichever is smaller...
That's fine, I have no problem with that.
So I make the pic 100 x 100 & twice I tried to load it & twice it said the pic did not get loaded.
Am I doing something wrong?? or is the problem on you end?
I think Im doing something wrong, but darned if I can figure it out....

On a separate note, I wish to thank PCR for the warm welcome. TY Madam. : )

Hi, I recently had my username changed and didn't realize the chance occurred. So when I tried logging in it kept saying I was entering the wrong password, so I reset my password. (Had not realized at the time my username was changed, which I thank you for doing.) I tried then logging into the forum with the temp password sent to my email. But whenever I tried logging on it would say the usual ty for logging in... And then as soon as I would click to go to any page on the site it would auto log me out?.... Was able to change my password to what I wanted using a link from the email; However, the same issue seems to be occurring. .

Any idea as to how I can stay logged in?

Disregard, I may have resolved the issue. It appears that if I just keep the remember me box checked it doesn't auto log me out each time i click on something. Might not be the intent of it but hey, it works.
