    Default Thanks Mike/Aura

I emailed Mike asking about the Kids glasses program on 7/1. I didn't see until today he emailed me back right away. I thought it was a discount deal.

Today we received a beautiful pair of glasses for Ari, our 3.. turning 4 year old.

Thank you Mike, that certainly shows a commitment to the future of lampwork. She will always remember this. A very happy girl.

It's nice to see a company that has nice products go back to good customer service isn't it! Good for them!

It's a double edged sword having a quality business - one edge is great when things are going well - one edge is horrible when things get into a stir.

    I say thanks too!

Aura, Mike and Ed have all been great as far as I am concerned. I just received some sweet glasses for my daughter.

I would/will buy from Aura again when I need more/different lenses.

I also got on the Kids program for my son(also 3 turning 4), he loves them! And, as he get bigger, I just send them in and get the next size up! Great program.

My boy is 5. How does the program work? What if he wears script glasses already?

Mike is using a new frame for the kid's program. It is a Z87 safety frame in a wrap style similar to the Biker frame. So far, it seems to be working well as a one-size-fits-all, at least from the feedback we've gotten so far.

To get into the program, please send an e-mail to sales@auralens.com with "kids program" as the subject. We can send a maximum of 3 pairs per family. We ask only that once your kids no longer use the glasses that you pass them on to another family that can use them. We need your name and mailing address.

We can do prescriptions Emmett, but we do charge for them (at a discounted price). Please e-mail me at the above and we can discuss it.

I dont think the Kids glasses are for Boro, so make sure you check with mike so your kids dont hurt there eyes. I thought you could use them for boro but Only clear. Correct me if I am wrong. I got both my kids these glasses and I put a shade 5 on them and now they are good for them to use.

That is correct, Abe. The eyewear we supply is for working soft glass only. We don't recommend that kids under the age of 14-16 work with boro unless they wear a minimum of shade 5. The eyes of children under the ages of 14-16 are still developing and should not be exposed to intense radiation (either heat or bright light) without definate purpose protection.
