I was commenting on the comment Kato made. Chill man. I guess I could have PMed him, but I also wanted to comment on his glass. Nice Glass Kato! Keep it up. I only commented on what was said.

Was not even remotely spamming. Kato mentioned the TCB he got from me and I replied. I also commented on his work. Look at the posts I make. They reference the posts made. I only advertise in my thread in the vendors section. Sorry if you can't see that. Once again, Great... er... grate work!

aww comon guys simmer down, were pipe makers right?

Now ya cant get too mad at crip for callin em like he sees em. lol thats one of the things i like about his posts. But let me be clear on the TCB. I absolutely totally dig it. It works great and was simple to set up once I knew what I was lookin at. Also, Luke was a stand up guy on the phone offering not only info on my doshbox but some great glass tips. He gives great customer service, shipped the pedal very quickly, and its worked great so far! (and if theres a problem BAM warranty) So I can't blame LTD for being rightfully proud of a good product, but thats just me And yes I would happily post up a few pics of my doshbox rig, maybe even a video...yup, im that happy with it

Thanks for the compliments on my work as well I've been really trying to do a couple different things with the fume traps. I went on a marble binge, and had real success with a new idea tonight. i'll post pics later today.

Can't wait to see your marbles. If I could pay my bills making nothing but marbles and solid work I would. The stainless screen texturing I messed with yesterday came out nice. Keep up the good work!!

thanks crip, your right on the black and silver sleeving. And the orange was fumed with silver as well. Ya gotta be sure to use a heavy amount of silver to get the strikes dark enough on the brighter colors...

ugh i hate how blurry some of these pics are...i need to figure out a couple thins i guess...

    kato your work looks great.
as for the pics, well you already know about them.....

get a tripod and you will solve the focus issues.

as for lighting and background, that is next.

i have wrote the details out for a few others on here struggling to get a good pic and if you search you will find it is not that expensive to set yourself up to shoot high quality pics everytime.

tripod (with good adjustable head), graduated background, hot lights (i use lowel tota lights)

all the difference in the world. i cant wait to see your work under those conditions.

i disagree fizzle, you will never get a good studio shot without a tripod.
point and shoots are great for quick reference but a real studio shot says it so much better.
also, in reality there is no better lighting than a good overcast day. absolutely perfect diffusion with no shadows. since these are not optimal settings to ask for, i use the tungsten set up. i have been shooting my own studio quality shots for many years and i feel i have a decent grip in photography.

Stroker, Fizzle, I really appreciate the photo tips. I have a tripod but couldn't find it last photo session. But today while cleaning up shop I came across it! I sold all the pieces I took pics of so I cant re-shoot them but I have a couple others I will try out with your tips! Im shooting with a Nikon Coolpix, it gets good shots sometimes but yea; I still am dealing with the learning curve of shooting good closeups. While I really do appreciate the help may I ask that we keep my progression thread civil. I'm more than happy to hear debate on how to take a better photo but perhaps we can start a thread for it. Or perhaps there already is one. Again thank you for the tips and comments on my work. I'm going to give 'em a go right now!

fizzle, you are telling me to shut the fuck up???
seriously, son you are picking the wrong battle for sure.

honestly i cant figure out why your so bitter? i dont remember calling you any names? but i am game....
my advice to kato was much more to the point and directed at using the equipment that he has than you give me credit.

i never said he needed a new camera or lens, that was you.
i never mentioned a lightbox either, and he already has a tripod which is something anybody owns a camera should have.

i never griped about anything other than your poor advice of not needing a tripod. that is by far the most important thing on the list of things to get for good pics.
it sounds like all your photo buddies have mislead you or they were just uneducated on the subject.
you were the one who assumed he cant use the camera he has to shoot studio quality and just disregard the fact that he may already have a nice camera (which he does).
the nikon is all you will need if you (use a tripod)! plus i am sure it has a good macro mode so there is no need to buy another lens either fizzle??

last, i never said anything refering to you belittleing my skills as a photographer, but if you did i would laugh it off as i know my pics are shot very well. that is what 15 years doing them has done for me. thought i would try and share some insight but i guess we will just ask you from now on.

this was meant to be help for kato , not a pissing match between me and someone who doesnt know shit about pics.
so i suggest before you open your pie hole, that maybe you think about what you are gonna say.

this was about as civil as i can keep it fizzle, but if you want to cross a line then lets do it together and see what happens.

kato i am sorry for the threadjack bro, i was truly just trying to better your pics. fizzle, now that i said my piece i will"shut the fuck up"
