Lots of Graphite for Sale! Help me raise torch funds!
I have tons of graphite blocks, plates, paddles, and odd shapes. I can get more and my buddy seemed semi willing to machine possibly (dont get hopes to high.)
I personally will hand make quality tools upon request, Ill get a picture of the sets we use in my shop, but since they are hand made i don't stock them or make them unless someone asks.
help me raise $$$1600 for a pm2d and ill show you some love on prices
since there are so many id prefer to not have to measure and price each individually, so if mods can let not pricing up front slide, I was thinking people can give me dimensions and I will respond with what i have to fit and prices per piece.
feel free to pm me with any requests on sizes, shapes, tools, donations (haha)
thanks for looking, happy torchin!

Re: Lots of Graphite for Sale! Help me raise torch funds!
I thought I was getting a line tool from you? What up? If you need funds my money has been waiting for a while. In fact I prob would have picked one up somewhere else if I had not been so stoked on a custom tool from the ganja crew. Hook it up. I wanna use one before I decide to line encase or draw then sleeve.

Damn that a lot of graphite. How's the quality?

Re: Lots of Graphite for Sale! Help me raise torch funds!
Nice, please bring some up to g.l.a.s.s. id love to get some from you.
Doood, you need a new kiln before a new torch, lol
Have you used a pm2d before? I ask cause imo that torch is good for some stuff (nice huge bushy flame) but all around not one Id use reg in my shop. Big downs is the poor centerfire. Go with a mirage or cc+
oh hell what am I saying, buy the fucking torch and rage it yourself, if you dont like it sell it.
after all thats exactly what i did. Just be prepared to buy a few pairs of kevlar sleevs, yer gonna need em.
We can talk more at g.l.a.s.s. im stoked!

Re: Lots of Graphite for Sale! Help me raise torch funds!
Sorry about that bilbo! I did start on it, sickness and injury got me off track, I'll finish it ASAP! Hopefully today or tomorrow, I'll send progress pics if you like. Just lmk
Quality is top notch! Seriously! I used a piece as a kiln shelf for a month or so every day, very dense.
Also I've used the stuff I get side by side with the stuff from eBay and it's on par or better, mine seems to scratch less.
Will do coal! And no I've never used any Beth, I'm totally in love with my Sargent (with lines swapped to be like a cc of course.). I wanted it to compare and for the firepower too, also was looking forward to a surface mix center. Dude i can't wait for g.l.a.s.s.!!!!!!
PS I welded on a pretty sweet softbrick garage door after getting super pissed trying to work sick and with a gnarly back. It's hinged and solid and everything! Kiln build is coming up though, firebrick place is down 43 blocks

Re: Lots of Graphite for Sale! Help me raise torch funds!
Im lookin for a large l marver just to keep in front of torch on the bench.
A guy I work for wouldnt trade his beth pm2d for the world, its a VERY capable torch (he says its tough to do little pipes on, cant really narrow the flame much)
Not to get off track, can you explain the line swapping?

Re: Lots of Graphite for Sale! Help me raise torch funds!
how much would you want for the 6 square blocks in the top right corner in the second pic..?
-
Re: Lots of Graphite for Sale! Help me raise torch funds!
I'd like a marver i_____i like that if you can make one out of a big block
-
Re: Lots of Graphite for Sale! Help me raise torch funds!
@HPIAdam...if you can give me dimensions should be no problem up to around 18inches.
for the sargent its something i learned here, the outer oxygen and gas valves are switched from how a cc's are. if you switch your valves it will run tighter, more oxidizing, just like a cc. (or switch just the lines to see first itll still work)
@1UP....$75?
@3rdI....its in the first picture sticking up in the middle, and it can be seen from above in the last 2 pictures, second row down and in the middle (middle right is what you want, the one next to it is just an L)
Not sure on a price $70?
Thanks for the interest everyone! the prices im giving obviously arent rock solid so if they seem high or low someone let me know!

Re: Lots of Graphite for Sale! Help me raise torch funds!
how much an # can you toss some in a flat rate box for me?
-
Re: Lots of Graphite for Sale! Help me raise torch funds!
@Kevin....If shipping is paid for in the price or by the buyer I have no problems shipping however you prefer. I haven't worked out a price per pound, but that seems to be a fit way to go. If you have bought by the pound what did you pay? If you can let me know or give me the sizes shapes you are most interested in, I'll get it out ASAP.
Bilbo, your line tool is shaped, I think it's gonna work in 50x5 I had an apprentice do the final groves so hopefully no tweaks need to be made! Plan was try for 50 if it's too loose shave it for 44
Just another reminder to everyone, I'm guessing on prices going off 1. ABR's graphite prices 2. eBay guy's prices 3. How rare I feel the requested piece(s) seem
Please! Give me feedback on the prices, if it's good gimme a hell yea and if not tell me im ripping ya off! Hopefully I'll be able to get a better grasp on what graphites worth to people quickly, I really am trying to be fair, leaning towards the phat hookups side!

Not like that all. From the sounds of it, he had plenty, so I wanted to get a dibs in since I'll be seeing him in a few weeks. If it had been the only stuff, and you had requested it, it would terribly rude of me to try to steal your sale, and would expect that the sale should go to you.
