Wow thats awsome. I love your shrooms. Killer collection your building.
Hello! My name is matt, and I've been working behind a gtt cricket for a total of about 5-6 months. I've made several flowers, vortex/spirals, and abstract pieces, but i really like to make mushrooms. Thank you all so much for doing amazing work and being willing to share your techniques and wisdom with this community. Please let me know what you think of my pieces! My camera doesn't quite do the colors justice (especially silver wisps in the tails and sparkles)
Also i've seen a couple mushroom threads here but would love to see any additional pieces any of you have made![]()

They look sweet! You've been busy that's quite a collection. I've only got a month on the torch and haven't gotten to them yet, but this definitely inspired me to try them out.
Nice collection!

Take life with a grain of salt.....a slice of lime, and a shot of tequila
Thankyou for the compliments guys! I would definitely try out making them monte. If anyone is interested in purchasing any or all of them please shoot me a PM! Also if any of you would like any of my shrooms to add onto your pieces let me know. Generally around 5-15 a piece
nice shrooms man!
Your shrooms are tight man!
Those were one of my first lessons when I started and people still find them fascinating.
They say how did you get that in there? And I say "oh easy" then I make a squishing sound while I imitate poking something in my hand.
Oh yeah, and I ALWAYS have like 10 in my case. Bead store or pipes store. Mine are real simple, just what I do with my leftover stringers. 50% of the time the store would just get them all and the extra gas $$ was nice.

Thank you Mattypo and Fumesniffer! Haha so many people don't understand the process when i tell them...i try my best though. I really like to stack/stripe/frit-coat/mix & re-pull my leftover stringers and scrap for mushies, can end up with fun unexpected results i can learn from. I also really want to try playing around with fumed stringers when i start glass again in the spring. Yeah i feel like they can sell pretty well anywhere
