Re: Glassmax new Studio & exhibition
Here I go on
I show not only my own glass but other artits glasses as well.
This one is very old.I made iton a meeting with other artits about 25 years ago.Its blown at the furnace.
This is original art nouveau style from about 1890,lampworked.

Thats a tea and sugar cup set from the "Bauhaus" episode made at the lathe about 1930.

A furnace blow vase, oven made.I dont know the artist.

Ormaments,ormaments,ormaments.Season is over now

A parfum flacon I made last year

A crazy paperweight from an british artist made 19890

A vessel I made from soft glass

I´m proud of my new bench

Let it burn baby burn

View of Studio

Thanks for watching

Re: Glassmax new Studio & exhibition
Hia all,
I´ve been sick for a while, still not godd but glass keeps me up most.
But only small stuff as I can only stand about 30 minutes at the torch, melting time.
But at the time Lampworking is one nof a very few things that also gives me mental strength.
Unfortunately I am pretty sick since longer now, going from one specialist, dos, hospitals to another, got at stant, bloody diabetes T1,bla,bla,bla
So glass is a good medicine,I call it "playing around",doing things I have in mind for a while, new shapes and patterns or improve .
So here some smaller playing results:
This one is 8,5"long

This one is 10" long

This one is 10" tall

This one is 15" tall

This one has 5" diameter

This one hs 4" diameter

Thanks for comments,Glassmax Axel

Really great stuff and studio! I really like the white base orb in the 1st pic...reminds me of an old lightning strike marble. Get your second wind and give life hell!

Re: Glassmax new Studio & exhibition
Cool. That would be a fortune in New York. Costs $4,000 month for an apartment in the city. God knows how much retail space costs.
My girlfriend just put in an offer on a foreclosure. It has a basement office I might use as a studio.
Since I can't afford $2000 month for mortgage and taxes I don't have much say. It's only 1 hour drive from the city though.
I will be taking care of the lawn and helping out with her son.

Either you make more money in Germany, are independently wealthy or things cost less?
