Hey Forum,
Recently I was helping out a friend with a computer issue long distance over the interwebs via remote helping him fix his computer issues. He knew I was somewhat of a “Noob” on the torch and said he’d send a care package of Glass stuff for me. You can imagine my surprise that I could be awarded with glass goodies for just using my day job skills! This was beneficial to both of us since I had skills from my full time “Day Job” to help him out and he had extras lying around from his full time “Day Job”.

I feel that there might be more glass blowers out there in need of these same services that don’t have extra cash lying around to take it to a computer shop but might have extra glass materials, tools, finished work for me to oogle, etc.

The program I use to remote is called Teamviewer, this is a free program as long as your computer isn’t too broke to download. I commonly use TeamViewer for remote desktop sessions but if you already have “log me in” installed I can work with that as well. Below is a list of services I can perform long distance via Teamviewer:

• Virus Detection and Deletion
• Software Installs (I’ll provide the software)
• Printer Problems
• Slow PCs
• Registry Errors
• Anti-Virus installs
• Scanner issues
• Anything else that you can think of that I don’t have to be physically there for!

• Note: Unable to do full Operating Systems installs but would be able to send you DVDs and easy to follow instructions
