Working hollow with andrew moch
This class will focus on basic hollow forms including hollow beads, ornamental bobbles, and vessels as pendants using borosilicate tubing. It will cover shaping techniques as well as maximizing color use in blown vessels. Artists should expect to come away with a grasp on hollow forms and a new enthusiasm for off mandrel work. Class price - $300.00.
• 2-Day class totaling 6 hours per day (there will be a 1 hour lunch break). A supply list will be given to each student at the beginning of the class that will require an additional cost for materials.
• Experience required: 1 year torch experience working with borosilicate is preferred but at least 1 year torch experience is acceptable. Please bring your own tools and blow hose gear (kits will be available for purchase if needed)
• Class limit is 10 students with a 4 student minimum. Should the class need to be cancelled due to lack of students or weather, those individuals who have signed up will be notified and the class will be rescheduled.
