    Default first fume/bubble trap

    i was inspired to try this technique by some of the other members here (thanks shttrd spctrm and firekist) i kept the shaping simple as i was just trying to get the colors right at first. this technique is so fun, i haven't enjoyed a new tech this much since coil pot reversals.

    nice work! not sure when i said anything about it.. but.. whatever =)

    if you have not enough fume, strike it like crazy.. the silver will grow. looks like you got fume a plenty on the stem pieces =)

    the can looks nice!

    you posted a pic here a while back;

    i used blue tube and rolled it on a floral frog before fuming and sheathing. i'll try striking one out longer.

    I was gonna say, it was prolly that post, with those sickass donut spoons made outta the black tube that brad sent you. I love tube encasements, there so much fun. remember to play with the amounts of fume, thats the best part.

    also play with other colors. i dont do alot of tube encasements but i do alot of blow ins/ stuff and puffs. and there are tons of color combos that look sick. just experiment. yesterday i made some prodo i/os by blowing silver strike into it. looks sick ill see if i can get a good pic.

    I was talkin about fume. just using fume to get many, many different colors, even in the same tube. stuff and puff with color coil is totally different.
