So have you ever heard of bisphenal-A. It's a chemical in most plastic. it's a chemical that is harmful towards animals and especially infants. Over all its bad. now this isn't new new's but i noticed something intresting on the morning new's the other day. There was a special bit on the chemical and they were chattin about how plastic bottles are bad because the chem is gettin in the liquid we drink from it.

well long story short...i think that glass is going to triumf(spellcheck). I just shocked that i hear about this chem years ago and i thought it was bad and now its on the news. usually that means shits gonna change. Because as sad as it may be...America loves the television and tends to follow fads advertised all over it.

Spread the word...plastic bad...glass good

check it out do some research and learn about all the animals that are dieing because they injest to much plastic. Bisphenal-A is worse than you probably imagine.

money controls the information we see and hear on all major media sources. i haven't heard of this chemical, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's that bad or worse. the only time you would hear about something like this is when the cost or liability of keeping the secret is greater than the damages of releasing it. there is no compassion in that equation. you are absultely right about people following tv, which is controlled by greed and money (in US that would be the government and the fed).

It's usually referred to in the news as BPA, in case you have it on in the background.

Didn't the headphone cords from ipods have like 2000% of the legal limit of BPAs in them?

This shit is bad, and it's everywhere. Lining in aluminum soda/beer cans, Nalgene bottles (although their new bottles are made without it), pretty much any type of hard plastic contains BPA.

It was developed around 1893 as a synthetic estrogen, and mimics it in the body, leading to early onset of puberty for girls and a variety of other health problems, including cancer.

All of the independent studies that have been done have found that it is dangerous, while a bunch of studies that found it to be safe have later been revealed as industry-funded. No big surprise there.

I don't know if glass is going to replace plastic bottles, but it's definitely a safer alternative.

That was BPMs and it's only a problem for club kids

Rg not to thread jack, but the forum software vBulletin has built in spell check. When a word is underlined in red then the spelling does not check against the vBulletin word database. You can place your cursor over the underlined word and right click on your mouse, the pop up menu you get will contain a list of possible words. To change the word to a correctly spelled word simply click on the menu option.

I am sure all of you already knew this, but I see (?sp) and (spellcheck) in numerous post. Just saying .......

... and that's only if you use Internet Explorer (it's an ActiveX plugin). FireFox has a built-in spellchecker that works for any and all text areas that you care to type into (and can be triggered to work on standard input fields as well). Get Firefox

anyways...Spread the word...plastic is very bad.

to tell you the truth i don't care if humans use it and ruin themselves. they deserve it... i just feel bad for the animals. And if you don't well then image search for"shed bird" and check out what this baby bird ate and died from. You might feel some compassion. oh and if thats not enough then look up "Trash region". its a region in the pacific Ocean twice the size of Texas where the currents collect trash. and not your ordinary trash...its literally a soup of tiny bits of plastic. check it out. if that dosn't help u realize how destructive our lives our to this planet then I don't know what will.
