i would call it a wigwag
What do you call these? I've heard switchback pendant, reversal pendant, wigwag pendant...I figure i would ask you all. Thanks.
i would call it a wigwag
They are all referring to the same tech...with one exception. A reversal is line work that has had the axis reversed (a hole popped in the side of a ball and a new tube attached, resulting in what was once the top and bottom of the ball being on the sides). The pendant you pictured was pulled off as is...if you could see two terminations, one on either side, then it would be a reversal. Switchbacks and wigwags are the same thing...I think the first name describes more of the process and the second more of the end result. Any line work can be made a reversal, but switchback and wigwag refer to the specific design shown in your picture, as opposed to say, a spiral or bow tie.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think I am doing a good job of explaining it.
Aymie
in some circles it's the Wiggidy-Woo or Zing-Zang.
i've also heard it called the "Whoa, Trippy Dude" and the "jam-Band Amulet" but i don't remember why or where..
I hav always referred to them as switchback.
Wig wag sounds to fluffy.

Wigwag pendant.
It ain't where you're from, it's where you're at.
Really.
not just lines on a tube you can do nifty reversal wigwags on rod, it's just alot more time consuming imo
I let my dome rock while I let my erl drop
Thanks Butteflybobs...thats a pretty good explanation.
I do them on a rod I think its faster and easier...but maybe thats just me.
I think I'm gonna go with Switchback. Thanks peeps
