air bubbles, out of round (larger sizes above 1" rod)

and remember schott, corning kimble, and simax all react differently with fuming and all the silvers colors. but i think i remember corning being close to simax but different than schott.

and their sizes are sized more to inches than to mm, if that matters

i use pyrex every day and have yet to see an out of round or an air bubble. i know it went through a rough period a few years ago, but they really got there act together. other than curiosity about how other fumes look, ive never had a problem with pyrex. the fact that it is 4' rather than 5' makes it much cheaper to ship too!

Just gotz a case of 1.25 inch......$85.00.....I've been using pyrex for about 2 years now and I like it. Living in NY, it's in my garage the next day. There is a small wait but the savings makes it worth it!

pyrex is the shit for the price schott is over priced for what you get and i hate 5 foot tubes. All i use is pyrex simax is great for fuming. but to much money for clear. allso try spokane glass blowing supply they run around 100 to 130 for cases.
