I make tops. There $10 .Made by me in the US.
i have been asked to make a few prototypes for a possible larger order of custom goblets. i am decent at making goblets, however i am under time restraints and low on the right materials. i have tons of glass, only thing is all of my tubing is either too big or too small compared to what i would prefer for the cups, plus its all heavy wall. i found these on glasscraftinc, but wondering if anyone here might know someone or somewhere cheaper? thanks for the help.

post a pic skip, lets see the goods!
hell yha skip!!! pluss thoes pre made bithes are thin i have see a few of them crinkel as they were being put together
Just because it is heavy wall doesnt mean you cant use it for your tops. I use heavy wall for my tops now because people were complaining my goblets were too thin and delicate. From an artistic standpoint thin and delicate is difficult to master and appreciated. but from a functional standpoint if people are spending a lot of money for a wine glass, they want something durable and that they are not afraid to use.
The heavy wall does not blow as straight but you can work around that if you practice with it enough. Plus, with the heavy wall you can make larger size cups that still maintain a descent thickness. I know your on a time crunch, but whenever you decide to make these for yourself again, give the heavy wall a schott.

work, work, work, all day long. work, work, work, while i sing this song. gonna light my fire, gonna melt some glass. gonna make a bunch of pipes super fast.
OK I'm back home from a long run of shows. I have a bunch of these made and just got some photos today for you.
Made from Simax. They measure 4 1/2 in tall, 3 1/4 in diameter, 2 1/4 in mouth. They weight about 100 grams (3 1/2 ozs.) all sizes plus or minus 1/4 or so.
That second pic I used some jars to hold the tops upright. They are not the tops.
