    Default Turtle Glass Progression

Hi Every One, Im new to this board and lampworking. But all ready love it alot more than other one I had been visiting. I like the idea of tracking my progression alot! Ive had my torch up and running for almost 2 months now Im so addicted to glass at this point, lol. Its usually the first and last thing I think about each day, as well as all day long at my real job. My friends are tired of me talking about glass all the time, I think. Although I get some good compliments from them on my work, which feeds my desire to learn and make more. I live in a place where there is very few glass artists. Which is good and bad! Well lets take a step back in time and start with pics of my shop then from my first couple weeks. Ill get caught up to present day asap.

I really dig it, not that I have much to compare to, lol. It was from mike at the glasshive. Its a custom made one thats nine inch tall and is 18 in across, A tall boy I call it! It came pre programmed which was awesome. Mike has awesome customer service as well.

****recent stuff******Here are a few dif tobacco pipes I been tryin last couple weeks. Made about 15 of the style of the blue tube one from the pics, with blue and green tube and they been sellin real good out of my case. I use ns butterscotch on those cuz I like it, lol. The green one and the clear omes have silver fume on the outside but you cant see it in pics at all Sometimes My fumes goes away on font of pipes? And sometimes all together???? I try to keep flame slighty reducing? But ya those ones more impressive in person then in these pics I guess. I like to use just fume and clear sometimes. I been trying to do cool fronts on pipes with twists. I been tryin to put not all the way melted in spirals on the side as a grip and to try to have somethin be same that stands for me on em all but not sure how I like it. Not all turn out good but most do and those sell first seems like. I got a question about w&r , alot of my color wants to break off after I wrap it and go to melt it in. I been avoiding these for this reason. Do I just need to got tube hotter before wrapping color? Also been tryin chillys the small green one more of a pinch bat made for that reason but others standard size in my eyes, lol These are just a few of the 25 pipes and 1o chillys I made in last couple weeks. These are the ones that are still in case after a few sales outings and clear wit green and clear wit blue I made the other night. Im workin wit my mega minor right now and have been for last couple of week as my CC at carlisle gettin cleaned and evaluated. Im so ready to have it back and make more complex things, faster and thicker, lol . Thanks for lookin let me know what ya think of the new stuff *And Im goin to start taking pics of things right out of kiln before they make it to the case and out the door so I have a better record of progression and more pics
