Well I guess that makes up my mind. Thanks for the info. Now to get the money saved to buy one.
I"m loving the turtles by the way. I'm not much of a turtle person myself, though I do like them. It is cool that you can do a honeycomb for their back.

Re: Turtle Glass Progression
pop the bowl hole back a little further and push with that as the center, and your shape will be better. you want the front end to be the highest point, and this will help that.
Other than that your color work looks great. For the time you have in, you are rockin it, nice work!

Re: Turtle Glass Progression
Awesome work! I really like your pipes
Are you figuring this out on your own or have you had any classes or instruction?

Re: Turtle Glass Progression
big carb and big mouth piece are my cup o tea, i like stuff that hits like a tank, the bowl hole is the important thing.

I think I said this above - but Yes, I took one four hour hollow class and one four hour solid class. One each weekend the two weekends before I openened my shop.
Also took a two day weekend bead making class As well couple months before boro classses
I learn much better seeing somethin done firsdt hand and having someone to ask questions when I try it for first time. So the classes really helped me. I would love to travel and learn from lots of people through out the next couple years. This forum and others also have helped alot.
