how i dont follow really. i was wondering if there was some way to clean up that end, but i figured you just had to do it right to begin with.

Take a sharpie and mark around your tube, that way you can do four lines opposite of each other and those can be your guide. The marker burns off clean.

right on, good tip dom. i did alright on the four lines, but as they got progressively tighter i started to lose it. i will do that tho, sounds like a great idea.

i started with 50mm by 5mm, puffed it out a bit for more diameter. you pull stringers almost as thin as you can, and start with four like dom mentioned equidistant. then half the sections, over and over. when you have one half of you rlines laid down, melt in and slowly twist trying to heat evenly so it all twists the same. then do it all again using the lines you already drew to guide your new starts. twist back again.

this one was a third time lucky type of affair. had to replace the main can 2 times due to stupid mistakes and bad luck. this one came out the smallest, definitely golfball sized, but doesnt suck any water, so thats nice.
