Thanks guys! I love making these sherlies. I'm gonna start on bubs pretty soon but for now here is one more. This one wasn't fused to the blowtube well andd the mouthpiece blew up when I hit it with a propane rich flame. First failure on one of these in a long time. Anyway I removed the broken section and added a new mouthpiece with some shaping to hide the seam.

    Exp green sleeved once again.

    Thanks for lookin

hmmm , I just realized the way I make these is a bit ridiculous. ..... I make the bowl section the other way around on the blowtube, push bowl, punty up on the top , remove handle , and use a handle to blow in bowl push to shape bottom and pop hole for connection. It works for me, but thats the method I figured out on my own. I need to try this method. Nice save there!

nice to know someone else does it that way, think I do it that way because I usually do bowl push before I make connections. I think the way you are doing em will work better for me though. One of my fav shapes to make, great for solar blazing, if you get down like that.

A goblet I did lastnight for my airguy. He's an old family friend and has been kicking me down free tanks most of the times I go so I needed to give something back.

More difficult to build than I thought at first. Well I think I've made three in the past so I don't have much experience with them. The connection between the cup and stem is a liitle more wonky than I would have liked. I needed to slow down and really work my heat base before connection. Oh well, next time.

I finished this piece lastnight. First time bending spirals into tubing and I'll admit it's a little rough, I need to tweak my assembly a little to make sure my welds are spot on.

Overall I'm pretty happy with my outcome. I used green/ap frit for the honeycomb mib on there.

    Thanks for lookin
