Love your work man. I just browsed through your entire thread over again and it's really inspirational; some beautiful art.
Also, although they were other individual's questions I really appreciate that you took the time to answer. I cant wait to get some more torch time and try some of that out.

Really love that exp green (especially the effect on the first shirly you posted back in April), I'm gonna have to get some and play around with it. Is that all exp green or is there some mix?

Thanks man I appreciate the comments.

Most if not all of my experimental green stuff is layered over white then sleeved into clear and pulled down. Hope that helps.

Yeah it's pretty simple, right around $25 for everything (I didn't have an account with the place I had to get the brass T's from) so they were a little more spendy than I would have liked.

Edit: a whole lot less spendy than the Y's the welding store tried to sell me though.

First reversal milli attempt. It got wonky during the pulldown. I tried to go too big on my first attempt I think. I still have a bunch of the prep I did for it so I'll try again on Friday when I get some more oxy.

Getting closer to what I want. I think I'm gonna use cobalt at the ends when I punty up to the next one the clear just streches out and distorts my milli.

Any pointers from folks that make these?

make a bigger maria on the end of the punty. my punty is 8mm , but the maria on the end is made out of 4 + inches of 20 mm , and i put a counter wiehgt on the other end to make it easier to spin.

basically you want the maria's at the end of your punty /puller bigger and thicker than your disc you're gonna pull out.

Here is two recent mibs I did. The white one bubbled up so bad that it looks almost distorted and the other one was supposed to be exp. Green #5 for the retti but I accidentally used jet black. on a good note I figured out how to effectivly fume gold on the gtt.

Accidentally spilled acid on my protective clothing today in the lab where i work. I had to be cut out of it and rushed to a rinse and flush station. Exciting day.
