Just got around to finishing this up today. Made with china black tubing and NS jet black rod. I was a bit nervous about the chinese black, but the newer stuff is a lot more user friendly than the stock from a few years back that seemed to like to explode. It stands at 13.25 inches.

very nice. I take it you sandblasted the outside? I like the recent black going around, had some 16mm rod that looked seedy, rough feel, but it worked creamy, no devit, bubbles..nothing, I switched from onyx to jet black myself when going smaller on a larger piece, looks the same as chinese.

From someone that's about to jump on his lampworking tricycle this week, that is just beautiful. Can't imagine ever getting to this stage and very inspiring.
