Frit's official glass gallery, my new work as its made!

Whats up everyone my name is Frit and I am a glass artist from long island new York. As far as the glass scene is concerned I'm basically marooned on an iceberg with a few other artists. I recently met NoFo and I learned from one of the guys from Itza when he was still on long island. I use a nortel red max I got when they first came out and a kiln thats wayyyy to small lol. Ive been at it for about 4-5 years now and I could be better but I lost focus a few times. I recently took a refresher lesson on hollow reversals and ratichellos at Bern Gallery with Tito. It really put a fire under my ass and I have blown glass every single day since. I sell my work to Utopia where I work in centereach long island. I'm going to post up my work please comment and critique thanks

really diggin the first one...I'm guessing the bottoms are flat like disc shapped??

Thanks guys the disc pipe does have flat bottoms it's actually the second one I've done I'll post up the first on momentarily. I really appreciate the positive review it sucks not being around other glass blowers who understand this type of work. I'm definitely glad I joind this site.

OK so I suck at updating this page and I'm gonna make up for it now by updating as much of my new work as possible. I now make oil rigs quite often and I'm still banging out production spoons with my own style. After I came back from AGI i realized I needed to hit the torch as much as possible. Im going to be traveling across this great nation to blow glass and meet artists as well as sell glass to as many shops as possible. I want to meet as many likeminded people as possible. more on that later.

Thanks man I appreciate that. Its tough to make your own stuff since at the end of the day we are all making pipes and using the same materials and techniques developed hundreds of years ago. I like my stuff to apear as modified natural forms. like you broke open a meteor and some alien rig is inside. I dunno maybe I'm using my creations to much lol
