I'm looking for a gently used GTT Phantom 4-Stud.
I'm looking to pay around $900 but will consider any reasonable offer.

I am fully expecting to pay more than my asking price of $900.
I started there because it seemed like a good place from which to build.
And I am very "seriously looking". Wouldn't have posted otherwise.
I'm not in the business of wasting others' time with pipe dreams.

I don't think I've seen anyone pass on a phantom(4) for less than $1100...
I am new, but seems with GTT torches due to how hard they are to get a-hold of with their limited production they hold their value incredibly & the seller has the power not the buyer. I bet if a used one was put up right now for $1200 it would sell before the day is over with a group of people racing for it... So don't see much luck happening with your haggle approach.

Figured it was worth a try. What's the worst that could happen? I don't land the torch? Then I'm no better off than I am now.

Alright, thank you so much for your help and words. After a good deal of pestering, I convinced my buddy to part with his phantom so he can finally upgrade to a delta mag. I didn't think he was going to budge. So if anyone has posted a phantom for sale in here, they are up for grabs by anyone (provided seller agrees).
