Urban Pheasant Easter Egg Hunt, Detroit.

Hey Melting Pot! Join us for some hi-jinx in Detroit next week. We will be putting together a little Easter Egg hunt at one of our favorite spots in the city. We plan on drinks, Dj's, demos and plenty of games. Hope to see you there.

I'm 17 turning 18 in july and would love to attend this event as I am jut getting started in lamp working and would like to get as involved in the movement as possible. Is there a age limit?

I honestly don't know. There will be an age limit to redeem prizes, and an age limit to drink, but I will get ahold of the old miami and see how they feel about what age to get into the bar. Usually the bar events are 21+. Where are you from? We do things at the shop all the time and there is also the Michigan Glass Project's events. If this doesn't work out I will make sure you find your way around these parts and introduce you to some people.

I read through the rules bulletproof there isn't a age requirement for the site but there is a rule that anyone under 18 can't discuss the manufacturing and use of pipes. I'm all about the marbles and pendants till I turn 18 in July! I'm out in Oakland county. I definitely plan to check out the Michigan glass project this year.

We will be dropping eggs all throughout the event so damn near everyone will get a prize if it all works out right. ^theory, i talked to the bar, and they are pretty set on not having any underagers in the bar. Plus I wouldn't want to have you come down only to get bounced by some meathead and find yourself deep in the Cass Cooridor.

^Theory, we will be having work parties before the project to prep out pieces and get the Michigan crew's game on. A bunch of the boys around here all come out and we work on pieces. I will post up the details when the next one happens. Everyone is welcome to come to the shop when we do these things. It's pretty chill and we get some impressive shit done. I think you will be surprised how down most the glass blowers are around here with respects to noobs. This is a piece we made last year at a work party. Something like an 11 way collab....
