Default I need a small fusing oven! ASAP

Does anyone have a busted (or working) fusing oven they are not using? I am trying to get by on the cheap with this one. :0) I'm interested in any size firing chamber that runs on 120v. It does not have to work; just be structurally sound. I can replace bricks, fix cracks, or replace elements/controls if necessary. Will pay shipping+ (I do have a little loot), trade for glasswork, or barter to get something I can work with. I just can't afford a new oven right now. Post pics or PM me with what you have available. Thanks in advance for any help. I am also trying to help out a friend with this one.

Craigslist that one. If you don't need a doggy door, you jsut need it to get up to temp, see what you can find on Craigslist. You'd be surprised.

Icarus is right I every once in a while search "kiln" on CL and there are always really nice kilns selling for way less than retail. People buy them all the time for crafts, don't use them, and then quickly realize that it's a bitch to ship so they end up dropping the price a ton. I also see a lot of old kilns in amazing shape that people have in their basements and they have no idea what they are for. I've even got some for free on occasion.

We've got used SC2 Kilns from Paragon. Used for one weekend at Bead and Button or Las Vegas Glass Craft and Bead Expo.

They are like $790 new, these I can do for $450 plus shipping.

They have the bead door on them also. So, it's a lampworking/fusing kiln. Good for small stuff.

How big? You can get four inches from a mid sized microwave kiln from paragon and they work great. It's a small domed contraption that goes inside a microwave, which can be plugged in to a normal outlet.

Thanks for all of your responses! I haven't been getting notifications of posts in this thread. Guess I have to subscribe to my own post. LOL. I will keep an eye on my local Craigslist (thanks for that tip) a few have popped up. Also thanks for the offer daveabr, I will keep that in mind if I cant find something local. I am now looking for something the size of the Pearl 18 or Paragon GF-85B Glass Fusing Kiln. I've checked out a few smaller fusing ovens and realized I'll need something a little bigger for the project. Thanks again. Still keep me posted if anyone sees something comparable to the size of the the two I mentioned.
