i'm very excited to announce this years GCGG, and invite y'all to come explore west coast Canada's lampworking scene!

this year's gathering is going to be AMAZING! more sponsors, more camping sites, twice the oxygen this year, more torching stations....

the kush cup is the last weekend of june, then cannabis day downtown vancouver, THEN up to the WOODS for some CAMPING and GLASSBLOWING and MAD PUFFIN'

july 5,6,7 in Birken, BC. rustic environment, bring your camping gear.
unlimited glacial water on site!
blowers bring your blowin' gear, contact me with questions
i provide the gases and the glass'es for the masses
but bring your torch, regs,hose,handtools,color stash, any extra didyms, etc

How many (blower) tickets will be available?

there will 25, maybe 30 torch stations available. 2 blowers can share a station if they want

not so far, T-Rex, you're already north of the border., just 4 days of driving hard west... ha i've driven it a bunch of times, hitch-hiked it too... hope you can make it

Weird nobody answered you. I think it's in the same spot as last year, but redbeard moved?

Looks like Greyhound drops me off 30km from the site, I'm packing light. If anyone sees me walking, pick me up! I don't take up much room and I can hold a kiln on my lap. 250-240-2666 call/text if anyone has a seat

you know in retrospect, it seemed a bit too professional this year, its losing its woodsy/ guerilla glass blowing vibe. theres at least three things i can think of, the food shack thing at the top by the blowing, the people at the gate, making sure you are allowed in( i mean they were very friendly and all), and the lack of tunes 24/7. i brought earplugs just cuz usually the tunes are rocking hard till 5 am, but it got shut down really early. those new dj guys werent too friendly either, kind of alloof. and didnt take a request either, when they said ya i got that. oh well. also the table of glass for sale by merchants was new too, i didnt really hang out there much. was it just people selling on the main table, or was it store vendors?

lets go more ghetto next year
