AGI 2013 attendees, step right up and get your badge!

Favorite AGI moments.... Tim on the Banjo, The Glass Encased Hotdog Explosion, being sincerely welcomed by a bunch of people that have way more glass chops than I do, the amazing firework display, Zora Cane!, everyone being willing to be watched/giving an impromptu lesson on what they are doing, the coffee!, early bird goodies, torching in rainstorms, learning that graphite paddling spot reduces (shelbo), seeing all the awesome tools that people made, especially Josh's frit bowls, Tim's spring grabbers, and Eusheen's tweezer jacks, Plum calling me "Little One" at about 2 am, and did I mention all the amazing people? I knew about 3 boro workers personally before this event, and now I have a whole load of awesome glass melters as friends! If I can make it next year, I think I would really like to go again. It can only get better! ;p

This was my first year at agi and signed up for next year before I left. The entire week was filled with fun, friends, fire and great knowledge. Still haven't tried all the things I want to!!!!!

A blast again for the 2nd year ..... for any newbie reading this go go go ... I learned more in a week then I had in years of doing things "my way" ....
my best memories .....
late night with bates (sherlock,,,, yep my idea, me and him sitting by the fire around midnight, he said he wanted to make something .... he thought I said sherlock but I said gandolf! true story!) ...
Blue Lily Studio, getting some time with Mat was awesome as I've followed him from afar for a minute being only 5 hrs from his shop ....
Hanging with Josh and Chad up in Barry's shop ...
Josh's homemade sourkraut ....
playing Bachi (sp?) with Josh in a mini hurricane with hail in Barry's yard! (theres a video to prove it!)
Of course KEVEN"S FRIGGING COOKING! and of course the 1AM fries .....
Also meeting Misha! I've known her many many years via the forum and no ... she's not married to Mer 8)
I could name all the names here on TG but you know who you are, you were there! And finally putting faces with some the names here on the forum is awesome too.
Coming in 2nd at the Poker Game, being able to host it and also learning I was trying to fill some big ass shoes!

AGI is a blast! You just can't go wrong spending a week in the woods with a bunch of like minding artists who want ... no maybe NEED to share .... it's addicting. In my opinion the skill sets your able to learn in that week make the $700 a little absurd really! Friends friends ... and then more friends .... and to top it off I've been invited to join the team helping next year SO see ya in '14 fosho!!
