Wilt Model 200 Glass Annealing Oven:
Ok, here's the deal. I used to work as a glassblowers apprentice back in the day and by chance stumbled on this Wilt Annealing Oven at a massive property auction. The auctioneers had NO IDEA what it was that they were selling and I managed to snag it. I don't have the time to mess with it. I haven't plugged it in, but everything is there. I know it needs a new thermocouple, lower bed replacement, and a new handle welded on. The lathe is mechanically sound, opens/closes perfectly fine. I'm willing to deliver it myself to anywhere within a 10-12 hour drive (Mississippi). A great little steal. Message me if you're interested.
The serial number is 71332, model 200

Taking it to the scrapyard today if I get no offers by lunch. Really was hoping someone could make good use of it.
That's really a shame. If I was close, I'd give you more than a scrapper. Awesome kiln...
What exactly would you use this kiln for?
These are the ultimate tube production kiln. We use to fill a couple of them daily!
Turns out a Wilt 200 is worth almost exactly $200 in scrap metal. What a coincidence.
Some kinda bullshit... why would you scrap a wilt.. ????? WTF !!! I can't believe the shit I see ... There are so many people buying lathes and A wilt gets scrapped ... I just wanna say that this bothers me .. Really I going to my shop to work out of my caldera .... That cost more than you just sold a wilt for ... arrrrrrrhhhhhhh...
Wish I saw this before today... Would of been all over it. Heartbreaking...
That S type thermocouple was worth the $200.00 alone.
What ever happened to alittle patience??? Sad to see this trashed![]()
