Thanks for reply..... I live in Australia would that still b the best option..... is there like a starter up guide or thread here? As I was hoping for a up to date discussion on the best tools (specific suggestions as in model or brand) to start up with $1000 or so, so if it's not my forte I won't b to much out of pocket....

Hi everyone, Kevin from Revere Glass here. I know no-one from Revere has posted here for a long time, but we've recently been creating lots of how-to content that we want to share with everyone we can. We do On the Torch, a series where we cover different glassblowing techniques, as well as Bench Tricks, quick tips you can add into your workflow. Dustin also occasionally livestreams to our YouTube channel, and we also do live online classes.

We also have a brick and mortar location in Berkeley, CA. Everyone's welcome to stop by if you're in the area and check out our gallery, sesh it up and collab if that's your thing.

I understand that there may have been some tensions here in the past, but our goal is positivity and sharing knowledge, so please let me know if there's anything I can do.

    Cheers!
    Kevin

Hey everyone Thundercat here. I've been hanging around reading the forums for a while now. I have been in love with glass for a few years now but only recently was able to begin learning lamp working. I have had he chance to spend time at a local shop watching artist Eran Park work, and began renting torch time back in January. I would estimate I have about 30 hours or so on the torch now, and I'm totally obsessed! I bought my first pair of shade 3s last week, and I hope to purchase a Gtt bobcat soon. I've got a nice spot in my garage I intend to build out into a small shop of my own as I buy more equipment.

I wanna thank all you veterans for sharing your time, knowledge and skills with us new guys. I will post a progression thread once I start my bench build. Thanks again for all the pointers it's amazing how much info is here with a simple search.
