Buying American Glass Only for new website

[Method]

I am looking for talented glassblowers (preferably with established galleries) to purchase work from for a new site I'm building. I am a pipemaker myself, but have fallen out of it when the foreign shop owners started buying from india and china almost exclusively. I sold my shop over 10 years ago but always wanted to get back to it. I am currently a web design student because I always wanted to add this element to my shop but never could figure it out back then. After completing a degree in computer science/networking I wanted to change directions and get back to what I enjoy in life, the pipe industry. There are some great flameworkers out there that deserve an audience. If you are interested please contact me or post here and I will contact you.

Pan's work had huge influence on me and turley was definitely a cool cat.

Price range varies, I am looking for higher end production to headies. I will buy more production because any pipemaker knows it sells faster, but preferably unique styles and I do still love the old school I/O and dichro too. I would love to have a site that sells exclusively headies but I'm not there yet. Price range depends on the piece, lets say 20-200 or more for the right piece. I would like to stick with higher end production to start with a few headies, maybe some gallery links to show the range of work, and to help promote the community.

As for HTML coding, it isn't as hard as it seems, but when you get into scripting, and databases things get a little hairy for me anyway. Took me 10 years to find that out though.

What kind of site are you trying to make? e-commerce? PM me, we'll talk about it.

Hi my name is beau. I have 19 years experience doing boro( 12 in soft glass) I can do anything from super thick spoons to hand spun tubes, rig or flower and just about anything in between.
