Due to financial hardship I am selling my brand new furnace. Up for sale is a BRAND NEW, UNFIRED custom 200 pound custom moly furnace made by Canned Heat Glass. The furnace is complete and ready to ship; this is a great opportunity to get a new furnace without having to wait a long lead time on the making of a furnace from the companies that build them. I did alot of research before I made my purchase and went with this company because the prices are very competitive as well as the design is very well thought out. This furnace is a "workhorse" it is very easy to use and maintain; it is designed by people who blow glass and understand the challenges that studio owner's face in maintaining equipment. Currently the furnace is in Portland Oregon (at the manufacturers) crated and ready for drop shipping. Design wise, efficiency, longevity and price this furnace rose far above the rest when researching moly furnaces. I paid $21,500 and would like to recoup that but will entertain any reasonable offer. Comes with High Temp crucible from Crucible Connection (Guadaloupe Glass) --2 extra Moly elements, Elements can be changed while furnace is hot.
Moly elements have very long life. --Comes on heavy duty casters and easily swithched out to leveling feet once in place. --Crucible can be changed out from the front or top of the furnace --3 phase 240 transformer. --Runs on 45 amps of power max load (when ramping the furnace up it will pull that amt. when idling it will run on approx 38 amps. This furnace is extremely efficient on power and has a low kw/h usage. --Easy to top charge, made for use with cullet making next day usable glass no problem; or using batch is no problem also. --Easy sliding weightless front door design, large door has 12-14” opening. --Approx 5' round footprint. --Very quiet, no blower! Very cool, you can stand right next to the furnace and feel very little to no heat. --Glass quality is superb due to no atmosphere or combustion. No cords, no bubbles if charging correctly.

My good friend has one that they use for their production soft glass line, and it has stood the test of time, and 240-ish gathers a day. Drained and refilled on the daily, no issues.
