captain, that top commb is awesome.
has anyone usedany of the ribbed tubing, like the daisy or iris tubing, for fume work? beside the obvious scalloped tubing.
Hey gus everything's looking great. Cheesenip you know I love you stuff and Jim O'shea your making me want to dust off some of the scalloped tubing I've got. Here are a couple of the pictures I've gotten one is older and the honeycomb is from yesterday. It doesn't show in pictures as well as it does in person and it's certainly not on par with cheesenips honeycomb badassery but maybe some day. I love fuming and this thread is my favorite on this site.

There is an ecstasy that marks the summit of life, and beyond which life cannot rise. And such is the paradox of living, this ecstasy comes when one is most alive, and it comes as a complete forgetfulness that one is alive. This ecstasy, this forgetfulness of living, comes to the artist, caught up and out of himself in a sheet of flame ; it comes to the soldier, war mad on a stricken battlefield and refusing quarter. ~ Jack London

Come hell or high water I am setting my studio back up today so I can play with some metals.

Word on the street is Aymie lit her torch today.. Better get to practicing!!
I was able to get this small enough for my customers.. They keep telling me quarter size is too big and dime size is what they want to wear. Hard to get that kind of color into something that small, but by god I did it.
I'm pretty proud of this guy, but they're only getting better. God I love the glass life! Couldn't imagine one thing I would have rather been doing today.
Nah, nah. See, I meant to do that.
I did light my torch and make a fumed pendant. Tis I who needs to get to practicing. It might take a few tries before o get anything I want to photograph.

If you're ever feeling down, just come in this thread. OMG!!

Couple random pendants from last night. It's been far too long since I've done any pendant work, so I've been a little out of the groove lately pendant wise. Love doing them though, so I've been trying to get a few done at least every couple of nights. Helps to break the monotony of prodo, and helps keep the skill sharp as well! Lol.

Nah, nah. See, I meant to do that.

I'm going to have to reread the honeycomb thread(s). Jesus H.
Nah, nah. See, I meant to do that.
Umm…yeah…I am not about to post the pictures of the fumed things I have considered good enough to put a loop on so far. I am way out of practice, but you crafty kids give me inspiration. The stuff I did was bad…so bad.

Oh, god damn it. I thought I was going to get some shit done around the house today, but I made the mistake of checking out this thread. It's torch time!!!

Double fume retti. I still haven't gotten the complete hang of these and my success rate is extremely low, but I love making them and when I don't loose it the results are worth it. Thanks for looking
second time trying this technique. Lots o fun.
