Fume pipe. I had a skull coin on the nose but seems it burned out for the most part. Couple layers so should look pretty good once it's broken in

    Default Lookin' good, Bones

Finally past the holidays and got some torch time

    Little spoon

^^side note - got caught in a pinch and had to test this guy out... Works better than any prodo piece I've used so far. Even if it is a little wonky still working on the spoons any tips appreciated...^^

And a lumpy, out of round, bubbly, devitrified Mib with a boiled backing. Aye yiy yeeee....

I really enjoy your fume work man, it seems like you've got it down! I need to go get some silver and put some time into it. I know it will add a nice extra level to my prodo. I'm not gonna pretend to offer advice though, I've only been doing the pipe prodo for about 2 months.

Thanks! Far from "having it down" but fuming is my favorite if you couldn't tell I'm trying to get some honeycombs going, but I'm having difficulty. I've read two honeycomb threads on here at least 6 times each and still no dice. I burned for 7 hours yesterday trying to get those damn combs goin. Scrap.

Went back to basics today been doin a couple flower pendys for my in laws. Playing with color combos so far no eureka but looks fine enough.

Nice work bro. Personally I would have pulled the stem in the spoon down a bit more so it's a little less bulbous. I like to pop the bowl hole back towards the stem a tiny bit then hold the piece at an angle when pushing the bowl, that way your bowl faces you. You're getting there bro.

I had a couple quick pieces after aymie's demo. Here are the ones that made it:

^carb got away from me. Too thin.

^bowl is uneven even after several attempts to adjust and correct.

Wouldn't be a progression thread without the failures as well.

    ^my fume trap sleeve blank^

Aaaand splat. It exploded shortly after it fell off the blow tube. I took too long blowing the bowl hole I guess it was also too thin somehow...? Maybe idk. Seemed pretty damn thick to me..

Second attempt got so uneven on the blank when I pushed my Maria it all went to shit. Will give it another try this weekend...

Since my recent demo with Aymie, my hollow work is actually starting to come along.. I am able to coilpot a spoon now (in the kiln) which wasn't actually part of our lesson. Just bring able to watch the way someone uses the torch has made all the difference in the world.

Tc referred me to a vid I think nomad posted on stuff n puff method of io spoons and that's been really fun as well. I'm getting to use colors a little differently and it's making spoons actually fun. (I used to hate making them) I still don't like making spoons all that much, but it's great to finally get some practice learning how the hollow glass moves. Also people are buying my simple spoons immediately out the kiln so I'm happy to make more. Thank you Aymie misha tc and ghostworks for all of your advice and willingness to help. Will post more pics of other colors tomorrow
