Re: Brand new Concentrator and homefill for sale "New in Box"
another stupid question is how do you have a police bike in your garage also? Are you a police man?

Re: Brand new Concentrator and homefill for sale "New in Box"
I used a 3 k tank bank nomad just takes longer for the initial fill. It'd be better for you to have more tanks chained together. A whip is just a nipple connected to high pressure lines and bottle nuts. I had my regulator tied into the end of the whip so I could work and fill at the same time.

This is very confusing to me. I am still not sure what a whip does? Or if I would have to buy some more tanks.

All a whip does is connect the homefill compressor to your tank(s) and it must be all high pressure fittings or itll leak like crazy. I used braided stainless steel brake lines for mine. More tanks ='s more working time.

Re: Brand new Concentrator and homefill for sale "New in Box"
So I see they have the most popular one is a home-fill that fills two tanks at once. That is what I would want. I would just have to buy 2 K tanks and connect them? It takes like 30 hours to fill? Then can't I just fill the tank at night when I am not working? Then work all day out of the tank?

Re: Brand new Concentrator and homefill for sale "New in Box"
The worst thing you can do to a homefill is turn it on and off (in my opinion) just build your regulator into the whip and then your problem is solved. It depends on your line going from concentrator to compressor. I've had two and one (stock invacare hose) was lucky to fill 1000psi in 35 hours. The first one I had I changed the hose to a regular compressed air hose and I regularly saw 1500 psi fills every 30 hours. Just unscrew the fitting that goes with your bottle nut on your regulator and use a brass fitting to connect to your whip it's super simple. I don't get how people charge stupid amounts for whips. Your regulator will also tell you the amount of oxygen in your tanks otherwise your just guessing how much it's filled.

Oh it takes more than 30hrs per k tank... Unless you got 2 Homefills.

Using the stock invacare hose yes and I never completely filled my tanks either. Fastest fill times are between 900-1400psi from my experience.

Re: Brand new Concentrator and homefill for sale "New in Box"
A days work is like 700 pounds to 1000 pounds on a good day. So I should be fine filling one tank. I could even get a smaller tank and fill that one?

I don't have the space for this right now. But in the future I could try to arrange it.

Re: Brand new Concentrator and homefill for sale "New in Box"
sweet.... the system I was talking about is the saltcityglass.com homefill system. They say for $1200 you can fill two tanks at the same time off one machine. It is there most popular system. I would need to buy tanks also though. So I have to consider the cost of the tanks also and the size that I need.
I mean I could move my warehouse shelves inside the painting studio..... and use the space in the glass studio for a homefill maybe? I have the electric I believe already. I am not so sure about the tanks though. But I would not have to move them around so I probably could set one up on the wood floor?

I try not to go below 500 psi, and I stop it at 1500 max. Under and above these numbers takes for ever. Going from these numbers I have no problem doing it in 24hrs with out any mods to my homefill, all stock.

I think it is very cool. I am starting to understand it. I could totally use a single unit with a smaller tank.

After I get my Mirage in March (already pushed back), this is what I want to invest in next. I'm still confused, is it one homefill per tank or how is it saltcityglass able to fill 2 tanks at once?

I know it is kind of strange to own a police bike. I think it is easier to get a police car then a bike.

I bet the triple mix use a lot of oxygen. Like a K tank everyday.

Re: Brand new Concentrator and homefill for sale "New in Box"
You can hook up as many tanks as you want to as many Homefills as you like. Homefills do 2 lpm, seen people do mods to em but its just little better than that. So 2 Homefills to one tank means you fill it up twice as fast. With 2 tanks and one homefill, your not having as much fluctuations in psi so your home fill is not over working itself. Better yet with 2 tanks is you can fill up one and work of the other, you can ad valves, and whips and come up with some sweet stuff.
I believe epchoglass (I'm sure I spelled it wrong) has 16 tanks hooked up to x? Homefills, super sweet looking set up. Search for it on here.
