use your claw grabbers (flash them in the flame quick if they're freezing cold) and melt the blowtube off. then pick open a hole with some 5mm rod. clean up a bit with flame, pop in kiln. done.

after working bowl end throw it in the kiln grab another blank that youve made up and make the spoon then throw that one in the kiln and grab the other one that has been soaking for a while take off from blow tube like an inch before the piece and the radiant heat will heat up your mouthpiece alot more gentle then you can work the rest of blowtube off and pick mouth. any time i take something out of kiln i heat entire piece up in end of nice bushy neutralish flame just so i know its nice and hot thats the worst is having something you spend alot of time on crack after having it happen just a few times ive learned to be way more patient with letting a piece soak in kiln and reheating whole piece especially once you get more than one section. your spoons look awesome youll be making some some killer stuff quick. how clean that connection is from blowtube to blank can aslo cause it to crack alot easier if it isnt perfect. when shaping mouthpiece side of spoon i go in on the blow tube a little and make sure everything is nice and melted evenly. gonna follow you on ig

there's also quite a few people who just anneal with the blowtube still on. the next morning (or whenever it's cooled off) score and snap the blowtube off and flame polish the ends. i think mostly the people who do this, do it just for low end prodo, and i have no idea if they bother annealing it again after.

Thanks jxbey for the support! I still need to get a small reamer. I've been flaring with my tweezers in a way I just figured out that was making it hard on me for a clean seal. I was putting both arms in and releasing to flair rather than one arm in and flaring like that.

Yeah after reading around on here I have heard of people annealing everything like you said istandalone24/7 but I rather build good habits of not annealing twice or cutting it short with just flame annealing the mouthpiece after cut off. Even tho I have a ways to go before being low end prodo I wanna try and keep my ceiling for quality as high as my goals are. Haha

do you have a L marver on your torch? i saw part of the Eusheen fillacello vid, and he flares his blowtubes (9.5mm iirc) on the very corner of the marver. neat idea. quick and dirty...but it sure works good!

Had a couple of stressful weeks with personal issues. Finally back on the torch regularly. These were a nice break from working with hollows.

ive done 5$ on simple ones those implosion ones id say 7ish for sure on the 710 oil one thats sick nice work, thats just what i would offer. shops in area like my prices thats why im able to sell to them it depends on how many they want to buy,the more the cheaper. i look at it as an investment on my end to let things go for a good price because if im happy and they are happy chances are they will be a returning customer. my prices are crazy low compared to other beginners in the area but im buidling relationships so once my work is quality i will be able to get the prices i want on pieces. is it a local shop or someone contacted you threw interwebs

That's what I was aiming for. Agreed at 35$ for 5 so I'm happy. The attracted attention from people selling my items online getting my name out there is as valuable as the money at this point.
