OK guys this kiln is great with the upgrades dude should drive its not far what a few hrs. When my friend bought his lathe it was a snowstorm and people and cops shutting exits down. I told him give me a hundo I will drive my van you buy dinner and gas. We got it , great adventure I bought several things there. And seller gave me kick downs and a little tab to go nuts with. Matt would prob show you something cool. Or even have other things you might see and make deal.

And we drove about 700 miles round trip in storm going average speed of like 40. Took like 18-20 hours. With no blower for heat in van. Real deal friend shit.

I will probably end up driving up to buy the kiln. I just don't have anyone to drive 20 hours with round trip. I'm all for the adventure tho

Wish my shop was complete! If so I probably wouldn't be selling it. But at this point I have to many projects going on to build a shop... So back burner it goes sadly

Well just think shipped kilns almost always get one or two fine cracks or worse. I won't ship. Even new ones do it. Most company's just send shit to fix yourself

Yeah I told him as well I've never shipped a kiln lol always picked up personally. Fucking kiln bricks are soft lol and shipping companies suck.

Lol what would be the best way to drive with it and travel 10 hours? I heard I could inflate a beach ball inside to hold the bricks in place

I just packed mine in with sleeping bags and pillows surrounding it in the back seat lol.
