Sold this today^^ they asked for a second just like it for their other grandchild. (Cute)

So I had to replicate it and I think I did good

    Hot shot:

Then I made some fume tubing and wig wagged it up

Feels like I've been off the torch forever (3 weeks thanks to the heat)

I think I have finally learned how to use my torch for the most part and how the glass moves. This is exciting. It's finally starting to click. Maybe I can start piecing together some cans and 2 piece Shirley's and shit
Nah, nah. See, I meant to do that.

I think I did a pretty good job replicating the first piece. Made this one purplish instead of blue. Happy customer.

Fume reversal finally doesn't look like an anus. Hooray for termination points.

Thanks guys. Mouthpieces still tripping me up but I'm getting a lot faster. Made this for a friend. It came out ok. Probably wouldn't list it for sale, but this guy is an asshole and I don't like the person it's for so good enough! Ha!!

Watched hoss make a two piece Shirley last night (he put one of my loser cabs on it awww)

so I figured I'd try one out today! Looks good, smokes way better than my spoons. I'm learning a lot and ever grateful to those willing to let me watch and talk about what they are doing and why they do it that way. Back to my lonely garage the lessons are few and far between but so helpful. Inker seeing all these classes with the greats but it's just not worth it I me to take the class until I'm ready to use the knowledge. Aymie and hoss told me how to make sherlocks in January. I didn't know what to do with the info they gave me until recently. Thank you guys. Thank you thank you.

Progress. I seem to still be having trouble with that crease on the top of the join. I'll get it.

Still needs practice. Mouthpieces keep coming out crooked and I can't seem to get that crease out of the top weld.

I think I see the issue with the crease in the bend of the sherlie now. Pop the hole on the neck/handle side a little higher, more directly on the side than angled towards the bottom. Again, I have never made a two piece, but I still think I am right.

Umm…is that a punty scar on the front of that awesomely fumetastic thing?
