Thread: Chinese lathe from ABR

  1. #1

    Default Chinese lathe from ABR

Bought this from ABR a little over year ago for $6000ish, used for 8 months part time then not at all for last 6 months since start of full time job. 80mm bore, approx 14" between chucks, can trim back chuck blades to gain 4-5" extra. Turns as straight as when I bought it, great lathe for production, a bit nicer than the Indian imported lathe. Just like the one Termini uses. I used it for 10" diameter wine decanters and had no problems making symmetrical even walled vessels. The fire carriage is drilled to mount a BlastShield torch mount which I plan on keeping. I'm looking for $4500 , fair price on a solid lathe, local pickup only, located in Durham North Carolina , still set up in shop to check out before buying, message me for details, extra pictures etc. would like to sell soon as possible so I can move to a smaller studio space, help a guy out Click image for larger version.
