Phase separation in borosilicate glass. The glass separates into two phases, silicic acid and alkali borate, from being held at annealing temprature for to long. So it will be more prone to breakage and corrosion.
Not sure I understand the question.
I only do borosilicate.

Never heard of it and they taught me in Corning where they make huge lenses for telescopes. Some are are in the kiln for months. Never heard of this before.
The plastic ones brake all the time. Especially the vibrators . Glass last longer and is cleaner because you can wash it.
From my knowledge Schott Duran for example adds 2% Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) to reduce the chance of phase separation occurring in it's glass. Any amount over 1% greatly reduces the chance of phase separation occurring in the first place.
I imagine others glass makers would add it as well, because if a lab glass is less chemically durable that is a big problem.
I think if your selling adult toys you should look into having some sort of liability insurance, or at very least have a waiver signed saying your not responsible if it breaks.
"Don't get me wrong gtts are nice, but I'm more about that Issac Hayes smooth talking flame over the "come here boy you got a purty mouth" prison sex flames that gtts are known for."
More afraid to get sued over smoking.
Those telescope lenses are not held at temp for months... that is the cooling cycle. Slow cooling is the only way they survive .

I don’t make many really. My friends like the plastic anyways. Especially vibrating kinds.
I’m really a pipe maker.
They only like the Sherlock bubbler too.
They are giving them away as a Christmas promotion at online sex shops. So can’t be too much money in it.
