The detail is outstanding, took me a good couple minutes per pic just to absorb it all. Nice work

Jesus Wes.
If your goal is to make almost every other glass sculptor look like an amateur, well, you have succeeded.
That beetle is just awesome.
And the wings on the wasp (is it?) in the first pic, superb.
Carry on.

Re: new critters on ETSY
I want another spider... badly. Love the circus one.
Boost the economy, buy more glass!!!

Re: new critters on ETSY
These are the coolest most real looking glass I've seen personally
If you don't mind me asking about how long does it take you to make something like that spider?
-
Re: new critters on ETSY
@Pope - each piece takes between 10-15 seconds to make, depending on what kind of gum I'm chewing on a given day.

Re: new critters on ETSY
Really cool stuff man. My favourite art is when someone uses extreme technical ability to reproduce the master - mother nature. So I'm a fan!
That you can ship those delicate things without breakage is just as mind-blowing to me.

Hello Again!
I've listed some more of my ultra-blingy Jewel Beetles on Etsy for your enjoyment! There's also a spider listed, I put that photo last so don't scroll down if you don't like spiders
Turquoise Jewel Weevil
Emerald Jewel Beetle
Chinese Turquoise Spider
Enjoy!
Wes.

The delicacy of your work is stunning.
I feel like I have catcher's mitts for hands after looking at those.
I want to know the secret to that level of stringer control.
.
Seriously, really nice stuff.

Re: new critters on ETSY
Chaka, my unsincere apologies!!!
The secret is soft glass. Seriously. Holds heat a lot longer than that boro garbage
